Toolographie performs initial legwork to vet every member. We use an ongoing peer-review system to ensure only the most reliable, high-quality users remain in the community.
What if my tool is returned broken?
Document your gear’s condition with timestamped photos immediately before every rental. Having this objective "paper trail" ensures the Renter is held accountable for any new damage found during the return inspection.
What if my equipment isn't returned?
We treat non-communication after 48 hours as theft and will assist in reporting the incident to the authorities. Our mandatory arbitration clause also provides a legal framework to resolve financial disputes.
Is there insurance for my tools?
While Toolographie currently operates on a peer-accountability and "as-is" basis, integrated rental insurance is coming soon. This feature will allow Renters to purchase coverage directly at checkout for added peace of mind.
How can I minimize my risk right now?
Verify ID: Always check that the Renter’s ID matches their profile.
Safety Brief: A 60-second demo prevents damage caused by improper use.
Start Small: List older gear first as you build your "Trusted Renter" network.
